Thank You!
for Year 9 of 12 Days of Christmas
A BIG thank you goes out to all of the Morning Star small groups that made the 12 Days of Christmas possible again this year for the teachers and staff members of Camino Real Middle School. On each day of the final 12 days before Winter Break, 100 gifts were distributed to remind our neighbors just how much we appreciate them, especially in the hectic days before Christmas. Gifts included scented candles, hand cream and lip balm, chocolate candy and so much more! Thanks again for pointing to God's grace in such a tangible way . . . for the 9th year in a row!
A Time of Grief
Please continue to be in prayer for the families of Don Fletter and Karen Lampkins, both of whom died on Thursday, December 11.
A Celebration of Life for Karen will take place at 10 AM on Saturday, January 17, at Morning Star.
A Celebration of Life for Don will be scheduled in the new year.
May peace be with you as the promises of Advent meet the good news of Christmas this week.

Your Generosity Is Making a Real Difference
Beloved,
Thank you. As Patty Groth shared in worship on Sunday, December 7, your generosity is making a real difference.
In the past quarter, the people of Morning Star have donated candy for our haunted house, provided Thanksgiving food for families from Cesar Chavez, supported our food distributions, offered blankets and socks for neighbors without homes, purchased gift cards for unaccompanied youth and more. These gifts build relationships, put meals on tables, offer warmth in the cold and, most importantly, remind our neighbors that they matter. Thank you.
