A special fifth installment of our “A Jarring Christmas: Resisting Despair with Defiant Expectation” series takes place during Parables today as we pause in the hustle and bustle of the season to acknowledge any grief that we might be feeling. Our annual observance of "Blue Christmas" is rooted in Psalm 13:1-6 as we ask the question, “How long?” on this longest day of the year. All are welcome into this practice of reflection.
